Preston Memorial Hospital is a state licensed, 25-bed critical access, acute care facility, located in Kingwood, WV. It is a nonprofit corporation and county owned. PMH opened its doors on July 16, 1955 and was formerly dedicated on September 29, 1955 during the annual Buckwheat Festival. Preston Memorial Hospital was dedicated to the memory of the men and women of Preston County who served in the armed forces and to those who paid the supreme sacrifice.

To celebrate our years of service the hospital is hosting an open house on Friday July 16th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
We will be having an ice-cream social, with lots of fun activities for children. Tours will be available for those interested in seeing our recent upgrades and renovations.
Bouncy houses, face painting, Bike Rodeo (with free helmets and law inforcement instruction). WFSP radio will be providing music.
