Wellness Program

Preston Memorial Hospital as a healthcare facility treats patients of Preston County and surrounding areas. We are sincerely concerned with the health and well-being of each and everyone in our community. We see daily the effects of unhealthy living and the toll that it takes on individuals as well as families. We want to encourage and instruct members to take control of their health, teach the children to live healthy lifestyles that will stay with them throughout their lives. We encourage many lifestyles changes not just eating healthy and exercising, but also smoking cessation. As you may or may not know Preston Memorial Hospital became a smoke-free facility on July 1, 2009. We are looking to expand our wellness campaign by adding other classes.
We are planning in the near future to bring:
- YOGA and other exercise programs
- children’s fitness and eating
- smoking cessation
- diabetes education and healthy cooking

to the hospital and community some at a nominal cost and some free. Please watch our site for future dates and times of new programs.
