Patient Satisfaction Survey
Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) Patient Satisfaction Survey
Surveys are sent to adult inpatients. When these surveys are returned, Preston Memorial Hospital's vendor reviews them and tabulates the responses into the HCAHPS database. Outpatient surveys are conducted also and used internally to improve care in our departments.
This process is used to further improve patient care and satisfaction at Preston Memorial Hospital. More informtion is available at www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov.

Credentialing and Review Coordinator
The credentialing coordinator facilitates the medical staff credentialing process. The credentialing coordinator accepts new physician applications, completes background checks, and verifies references and schools of all physician applicants. The coordinator informs the QIS Director and Peer Review committee of all potential applicants and of those physicians up for reappointment.
