Preparing for the Hospital
WHAT TO BRING
For your comfort, bring any personal items you will need
including night clothing, a robe, slippers, toiletries, grooming
aids, and all prescription and over the counter medication. For
safety reasons, the hospital engineer will check any personal
electrical equipment you may bring to the hospital to determine
if it meets hospital safety standards. Please do not wrap your
personal items in tissue or napkins or leave them on meal trays
or on your bed. They may be discarded accidentally. When not
in use, dentures and eyeglasses should be kept in a protective
container in the drawer of your bedside table. Denture cups
may be obtained from the nursing staff. The hospital cannot be
responsible for the loss or breakage of these items.
