SMOKING CESSATION PRESENTATIONS FOR WOMEN
KINGWOOD-Attention Women…Do you want to quit smoking? Preston Memorial Hospital (PMH) and the Wellness Council of West Virginia (WCWV) can help you. Please learn how by attending free smoking cessation presentations on Monday, October 27, 2008 at Preston Memorial Hospital in the 3rd floor business office conference room from 10:00-11:00 AM and 1:00-2:00 PM. These events are free and open to women of all ages. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. No registration is required.
PMH is a state-licensed, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Kingwood, West Virginia. Preston Memorial is recognized statewide for its leadership in rural health care—including its Preston Birth Center, 24-hour emergency department, and exceptional support services like respiratory therapy, diagnostic imaging, full service laboratory, home health, and physical therapy services.
The WCWV’s Worksite Wellness Tobacco Policy Project is a program funded by the WV Division of Tobacco Prevention with reporting responsibilities to the national Center for Disease Control. The project is designed to provide support for state businesses in the areas of tobacco policy and cessation resources. During its seven years of programming the project has assisted thousands of WV employers and employees.
