Perioperative Department
The Perioperative Department at Preston Memoiral Hospital includes surgical suites, an endoscopy unit, a post anesthesia recovery room (PACU), central sterile supply and outpatient rooms. Cases are scheduled Monday through Friday. There is twenty-four hours, seven day a week coverage for emergency surgeries. The staff consists of registered nurses, surgical techs and anesthesia providers.

The surgical services provided include general surgery, OB/Gyn, Ear, Nose and Throat, venous ablations, endoscopy and podiatric. When surgery is recommended, it is comforting to know that our physicians and perioperative staff are well trained and competent to meet the needs of adults and children by providing personalized care using model technology and equipment.
