Position Title: Registered Nurse

Department:ICU
Position Description: Participates in development and evaluation of nursing practices provided in the clinical setting and the overall function of the clinical area. This includes planning and provision of comprehensive nursing care to a specific group of patients, delivery of prescribed medical regimens and participation in the identification and resolution of nursing practice/unit problems. This position requires the use of independent judgment in directing employees. This position requires involving service to the appropriate age population(s) in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/development age of the individual served.

Shift Time Schedule:7:00A - 7:00P/7:00P - 7:00A, Rotating shifts.
Days:Varies; Weekends/Holidays required

    Qualifications:
    Education:Graduate of a school of professional nursing is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
    Experience:One year of Critical Care experience is required.
    License Required:Current West Virginia State nursing license is required. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period is required. ACLS is required within 6months of hire date. CCRN certification is preferred.
