Billing Information
You or your family member may visit a financial counselor on the first floor or ask that one come to your room to explain your insurance coverage or any other questions you may have concerning payment of your bill. The Preston Memorial Hospital Business Office will file your medical insurance claim. If you are not covered by insurance, arrangements for payment should be made with a financial counselor before you leave the hospital. Our financial counselors are ready to assist you and can provide help with all sources and methods of payments so that you may meet your financial responsibilities to the hospital.
Certain physician fees will not be included in your hospital bill. You may receive separate statements from the physicians who interpret your x-ray or lab results and your personal physician and/or consulting physician.
