Surgery Department The Surgery Department at Preston Memoiral Hospital includes surgical suites, an endoscopy unit, a post anesthesia recovery room (PACU), central sterile supply, and outpatient rooms. Cases are scheduled Monday through Friday. Coverage is available for emergency surgeries twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. The staff consists of registered nurses, surgical technicians, and nurse anesthetists. The surgical services provided include General Surgery, Gynecology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Endoscopic, Podiatric, and other specialty services of the Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Department. When surgery is recommended, it is comforting to know that our physicians and surgery staff are well-trained and competent to meet the needs of adults and children by providing personalized care using advanced technology and equipment.
