Preston Memorial Hospital’s Business Office staff files insurance claims for our patients. To help us provide the best service possible:

Present your insurance card at the time of registration. |

Prior to admission, if possible, please review your insurance carrier's requirements for pre-certification and/or pre-authorization. Insurance carriers often reduce benefit payments if their protocol is not followed. |
Payment for costs not covered by your insurance plan will be billed to you after the insurance company has paid its share. See our section on understanding your bill.
In addition to your hospital bill, you may receive a direct bill from other physicians for professional services such as radiology and pathology. These providers may or may not be participants in your insurance plan. Please consult your member handbook, or contact your insurance carrier if you have questions about your coverage.
