Preston Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, 25-bed critcial access hospital and is a state licensed, acute care facility. PMH has been providing Preston County and the surrounding areas with quality, value prices, primary health care services for 50 years.
 Helen Nikirk, Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Inpatient Services
Mrs. Nikirk joined the staff at Preston Memorial Hospital in June of 1993 and is responsible for the management of Preston Memorial Hospital’s nursing personnel and the overall operations of our inpatient services.
Mrs. Nikirk has over thirty years of experience in healthcare. She received her M.S.N. from Villanova University in Villanova, PA and her B.S.N. from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA .
Amber Tichnell, Director of Outpatient Services
Mrs. Tichnell was appointed Director of Outpatient Services at Preston Memorial Hospital in June of 2003. She is responsible for the overall operation of several out-patient clinics and services.
Mrs. Tichnell received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997 and her Master of Science, Human Resources and Labor Relations in August of 1998 from West Virginia University.
Michele Batiste Director of Human Resources
Mrs. Batiste was appointed Director of Human Resources in October of 2005. She is responsible for all Human Resource Functions in the Hospital.
Ms. Weimer received her Bachelor of Arts from WVU in 1990 and her Masters of Science in Employee/Labor Relations in 1999 from Marshall. She has worked in Human Resources since 1999.
Melissa Lockwood, Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Lockwood came to Preston Memorial Hospital in Oct 1995 as a Controller, she became Chief Financial Officer in 1998. She is responsible for overall financial operations in the Hospital.
Mrs. Lockwood received her Bachelors of Science in 1990 from WVU in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and previously worked for 5 years in public accounting with local firms in Huntington and Clarksburg. |
